Apple will reveal the first details on its long-rumored, cloud-based services at next week's Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco.
In a statement released Tuesday, the company would only offer the name of the service: iCloud.
According to a recent report from Bloomberg, iCloud would let users upload their music collections into "digital lockers" and then stream their songs to personal computers or to iPhones and iPads.
The Bloomberg report also hints at a monthly subscription fee, although it doesn't list a specific price.
During the WWDC keynote address, Apple will also unveil details on the next iteration of its Mac OS X software, called Lion, as well as iOS 5, the latest operating software for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
The keynote address takes place on June 6 at 1 p.m. ET.

ReplyDeletePersonally I don't have a apple product and do not want but as far as I can understand it requires constant internet connection which will be pricey in my country.And I'm sure 3G connection isn't that cheap in other countries as well.But I'm sure it wont be a problem over Wifi or other means of internet connections.
